Survival Kit

Student project – The brief was to create something consisting of die cuts with a theme of personal choice. At the time, I was living in Christchurch and experiencing the aftershocks and stories from the earthquakes that rocked the city over the last couple of years. This inspired me to create a survival kit, the theme gave me scope to use multiple die cuts. The kit contains face masks, antiseptic wipes, matches, batteries, an emergency blanket, a can opener, toilet paper, plastic bags, a first aid kit, and discount vouchers for ‘survival kit’ type food items (like canned food). For something fun, I added the ‘cabin fever’ chocolate.”
