Chocolate Sauce Packaging (FMCG)

Student project – The brief was to create a Fast Moving Consumer Good, consisting of die cuts and a fancy barcode. I created two ‘strawberry’ barcodes, the one to the right is on the bottom of the crate, plus a barcode on the pottle cardboard wraps (displayed in image 4). Being a lover of chocolate coated strawberries, I came up with this packaging concept of Whittaker’s producing a chocolate sauce. I chose them as they produce the best chocolate in NZ, the chocolate dipping sauces for strawberries on the market simply weren’t ‘chocolately’ enough! The concept consists of the sauce pottle design with the option of both milk and dark chocolate. In addition, the carry box design to look like a wooden fruit crate as a launch promotion. The design of the box allows you to collect a punnet of strawberries and a pottle of sauce that fit together nicely as a package.
