Bella Skye Candles

Bella Skye is a hand crafted scented candle startup. The branding and initial scent launched of Japanese Cherry Blossom is in memory of “Izzy”, who at only 21 was tragically taken in an avalanche on Mount Yotei, Hokkaido, Japan, where she was working as a ski guide. See Izzy’s story on the box. 

Bella Skye donates $20 from every Izzy candle purchased to Search and Rescue Dog Avalanche NZ. This aligns with Izzy’s love of animals, especially her wee dog Millie, and her fondness for candles, and recognises the vital work undertaken by the SARDA team. 

For Bella Skye I have created the branding, a custom sized box for the 80mm high glass candle jar and the theme design which has a vibrant and modern flare to reflect Izzy’s sprightly and youthful personality, this will set the designs for future scents. For this launch, the Search and Rescue Dogs Avalanche NZ logo is included.
